Colour Dot Studs - MADE TO ORDER 

As of January 2026, I have had to completely change the way I make my Colour Dot Studs - I used to get the bezels for my medium and large studs cast but the company who did this, went out of business so, I now make my bezels using sheet metal, a die and a hydraulic press.  This means that they take me a little longer to make and I use more silver sheet to make them.  The sizes are slightly different too and the bezels are a little deeper (although the studs still sit flat against your ear lobe), so, I have introduced a third size. 

My Colour Dot Studs are still available in the chunky deeper settings 3mm (tiny) and 4mm (small) settings and these are also available as solo studs so nothing has changed with these two. 

My new Colour Dot Studs are now made to order (due to the escalating cost of sterling silver) and they are available in the following sizes: 

• Small 6mm diameter - these are very slightly smaller than my original medium studs
• Medium 8mm diameter - these are very slightly smaller than my original large studs
• Large 10mm - these are a little bigger than my original large studs.

The above diameter is for the coloured inlay so the silver surrounds are around 1mm thick so this adds to the overall size of the stud.  The bezel settings are also deeper than my original studs so, I am using more silver sheet to make them.  

I have attached some photos below to show size comparisons between the old and new style studs just to give you an idea of how they look, but, please do contact me if you'd like any more info about them.  

I have also introduced a Studio Collection with two sizes of Colour Dot Studs that are available at a lower price point as I use a thinner sheet bezel to make these.
