Metallics White Teardrop Earrings with 24ct gold leaf

These teardrop earrings are part of my Metallics range and these earrings have been returned from a gallery are in perfect condition.

These earrings are made from two polymer clay teardrops; a larger translucent white teardrop with a sanded scratched surface sits beneath a smaller translucentwhite teardrop that has 24 carat gold leaf pressed and sealed into the clay.  

The earrings are arpproximately 60mm long and hang from recycled sterling silver ear wires in my signature paperclip shape.

The gold leaf has been sealed onto the clay with varnish.
