Scratched Polymer Clay Square Studs - Cerise Pink

One pair of my large scratched studs - these are slight seconds as the clay isn't a consistent flat colour, the pigments are a bit too swirly for my quality control. 

The squares are made from polymer clay with a scratched surface and a diameter of 20mm.  The earring posts and scrolls are made from surgical steel. 

I add an extra very thin layer of clay over the top of the earring post so that they don't come off and then re-fire them.  This makes the earrings posts more secure than just glueing them on.
