Beaded Sterling Silver Chain Necklace in Shades of Grey and 24 carat gold

Each of the polymer clay beads used in this necklace are custom coloured and made by hand.  These are the smallest hand rolled beads that I make with a diameter of approximately 8mm.  as they are completely rolled by hand, they aren't all perfectly round but that's part of their charm - each one is an individual! 

The beads are all subtle shades of mid to dark grey with an asymmetrical section of three beads covered in 24 carat gold leaf.  The gold leaf is rolled onto the beads before firing and then sealed with gilders wax once they are fired to ensure that the precious gold leaf stays firmly in place.

The beaded section is attached to a lovely hammered sterling silver round link chain and the chain fastens with a handmade sterling silver clasp.  The worn length of the chain is approximately 18.5 inches but is adjustable so could be worn shorter.
